What is Attendwave?

Attendwave is a QR-based attendance tracking platform for teams. Managers create office locations, generate QR codes, and employees scan them to clock in and out — no hardware required.

How do I create an account?

Click "Register Entity" on the homepage, fill in your details, pick a unique entity code, and your manager account is live immediately. No credit card required to start.

Can employees use their own phones?

Yes. Employees scan the QR code with any smartphone camera or QR scanner. No app download is needed — the clock-in works via a secure web link.

When does billing start?

There is no invoice on signup. You can add employees immediately. Your first invoice is generated on the 1st of the following month, prorated from each employee's activation date.

What counts as an "active employee"?

Any employee with a status of "active" in your portal at the time of billing. Suspended employees are excluded from billing.

What are the 2 free seats?

Every entity gets 2 free active employee seats every month — the two employees with the oldest activation dates. From the 3rd employee onward, ₦500/month applies.

How is the first invoice prorated?

We calculate ₦500 ÷ days in the month = daily rate, then multiply by the number of days each billable employee was active before the 1st of the next month.

What is the ₦25,000 monthly cap?

No entity is charged more than ₦25,000 per month on the Standard plan, regardless of headcount. If your team grows beyond this, contact us about Enterprise pricing.

Is there an annual plan?

Annual billing is planned for Enterprise customers. Contact us at hello@haqqman.com to discuss options.

How do I add employees?

From your portal, go to Employees and either invite employees by email or create accounts directly using their phone numbers. They receive an invite to join your entity.

Can I have multiple office locations?

Yes. You can create unlimited locations under your entity. Each location gets its own unique QR code that employees use to clock in.

What happens if an employee scans from the wrong location?

The system logs the location scanned. Managers can review logs by location and flag anomalies. Future releases will include geo-fencing alerts.

Can I suspend an employee without deleting them?

Yes. Suspended employees retain their history but cannot clock in and are not counted toward your billing.

Is my data secure?

All data is stored in Google Firebase with Firestore security rules. Only authenticated users within your entity can access your data. We never share employee data with third parties.

Who can see attendance logs?

Only managers and collaborators within your entity can access attendance logs. Employees can see their own records through the clock-in flow.

Can I export attendance data?

Log export is on our roadmap. Managers can currently review logs in the portal. Contact us if you need a data extract urgently.
